BEACH CLEANING DAY WITH LIVE LOVE BEIRUT

On Sunday April 29, Fattal Group and Live Love Beirut teamed up to organize a beach cleanup drive of one of the city of Tyre beaches. The Group decided to join forces with Live Love Beirut given that the latter NGO is well equipped and trained to organize volunteering events related to environment and cleaning in addition to the fact that it has an important young audience on social media.

Live Love Beirut motto is: “We don’t like to complain. Instead, we do what we can, to help make Lebanon a bit better. This is our version of Hope.” On Sunday April 29, 65 volunteers from Fattal left the Sin el Fil parking at 8 am in two buses and were welcomed two hours later in Tyre by the Live Love Beirut team. After removing loads of garbage from the shore, the group enjoyed a guided visit of the ruins of Tyre. The visit was followed by a lunch on the seashore.

The trash collected in the morning was handed to the city of Tyre municipality. We can make a change for a better Lebanon and it starts with each and every one of us!
